Elber partnerships with V-Nova
Elber is proud to announce its partnership with V-Nova™ (www.v-nova.com).
V-Nova™ and its novel encoding technology PERSEUS® launched on April 1st 2015 with a global demonstration of PERSEUS capability in broadcast.
V-Nova demonstrated how PERSEUS can deliver UHD at HD bitrates and HD at SD bitrates on current telecommunications infrastructures, from DTH satellite, to terrestrial, to mobile. PERSEUS delivers performance greater than that achievable by H.264 and H.265 based systems.
Elber is joining a group of global leaders (including Broadcom, Hitachi, Intel and Sky Italia) as a technology partner to V-Nova.
Elber will integrate PERSEUS on its platform to produce a broadcast-grade PERSEUS-enabled professional receiver.
